Placebo Effect was a public art interaction that offered quick fix solutions to society's ills with cure-alls concocted by participating artists. In the spirit of 19th century peddlers dealing in miraculous elixirs, each artist gave their cure-all to the public free of charge. Quick fix cures were also available for the taking at the Holiday Shopping Show at Wallsapce Gallery, New York, to anyone who asked.
